Chairkick stores account details, workspace membership, uploaded recordings, processed videos, thumbnails, transcripts, comments, and basic viewing metadata needed to run the service.
Recordings are stored in object storage and processed by background workers. Unlisted share pages can be viewed by anyone who has the link.
We use email delivery, storage, backup, and monitoring providers to operate the product. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.
You can update your account details in settings. Workspace owners and admins control member access and recording lifecycle inside their workspaces.
The Chairkick browser extension ("Chairkick: Export Loom & Cap Videos") runs only when you click its icon, and only on the tab you are viewing. It reads that page to find Loom and Cap video links, and on loom.com it asks Loom — using your own logged-in session — for the list of your videos and their titles. It does not read other tabs, collect browsing history, run in the background, or include any analytics or trackers.
Everything the extension collects (video share URLs and titles) stays inside the extension popup until you press "Send to Chairkick" or copy it yourself. When you send, the links and titles are transmitted to chairkick.com over HTTPS to prepare your import; unclaimed import lists are deleted automatically after 24 hours. The extension never transmits your Loom or Cap credentials, cookies, or any other page content, and the data is never sold or shared with third parties.
